WASHINGTON (7News) — The National Park Service (NPS) is asking the public to weigh in on a report examining the potential effects of a proposed Triumphal Arch within the George Washington Memorial Parkway in the nation’s capital.
The public comment period began on June 5 and runs through June 15.
The Assessment of Effects Report was prepared as part of NPS’s responsibilities under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
